We are recruiting for an experienced Waste Water Pump Engineer here at Willow Pumps. At Willow Pumps we are proud to be one of the UK’s leading providers of water pump solutions, including supply, installation and servicing of all ‘water in, waste out’ assets. Providing the complete solution to our customer is of utmost importance to us, that’s why we also have a large tanker fleet should you need more specialist emergency support. One call and we can do it all! Over the past 30 years we have grown a team of dedicated professionals providing a wide range of services from pump station design, installation and maintenance. As we grew, we also developed a successful drainage capability and large tanker fleet, taking our offering from simply pumping solutions, to providing a complete ‘water in, waste out’ service. What does it entail? The Waste Water Pump Engineer will ensure the operation and maintenance of wastewater pump systems to ensure the efficient and continuous movement of wastewater through treatment plants and pump stations, while also monitoring and optimizing performance. The successful candidate will be troubleshooting and maintaining pump systems whilst implementing preventative maintenance programs to help minimize downtime and maximise pump lifespan. Health, Safety and Compliance plus relevant documentation management is key, along with providing training and guidance to operators and maintenance staff on the proper operation and maintenance of pump systems. This role would highly suit someone with a technical/engineering background who is now looking for more of an office-based role. What experience do we look for? Background in pump engineering essential - or alternatively mechanical or electrical engineering Experience in water distribution system design and operation - preferable Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and hydraulic modelling tools Knowledge of water quality standards and regulations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to water distribution systems What you will receive Personal development Branded uniform Ongoing Health & Safety and new skills training Additional leave Company events Company pension Employee discount
