Interested? Then we will look forward to meeting you! Your responsibilities You will support the team with thermodynamic modelling and data analysis to drive Power Plants improvements. You will support in deploying the Performance Monitoring Process to our Power Plants. You will support teams we interface with, to understand and use our data. You will drive small improvement projects, within the team and in interface with other teams in Uniper. Ability to travel between Uniper sites throughout the UK and, on occasion, international travel. Your profile Essential Degree with a strong mathematical base (engineering, physics…). At least, basic level of modelling or programming (e.g. Python). Structured working style: understand the value of clear reporting, presentation and planning, comfortable and proactive to engage with stakeholders. Already knowledgeable and/or willing to learn a various range of digital business tools e.g. Loop, Power BI, DevOps, MS Projects... Comfortable to question the status-quo: do you see inefficiencies in the team? Can we do things better? You are comfortable to speak up! You are available to come in the office to meet the team when required (e.g. 1-2 days a week). Desirable Understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer. Basic knowledge of energy conversion system: CCGT, Hydro, Battery, CO2 capture… Operational Excellence mindset: client focus, think how processes could be improved, performance KPI driven. Ability to speak German would be advantageous but not required.
