The undergraduate placement would work in conjunction with the Network Managers to support the day-to-day delivery of the Network goals. It is a “learning role” allowing the placement to put into practice skills learned within their degree program as well as learn transferable skills for future employment.

The role would involve undertaking tasks under the supervision of and with the support of the Network Manager. Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day administration tasks, data collection and analysis, financial management, and project management.

Responsibilities:

Lead a Network project under supervision from the Senior Network Manager Support data collection and analysis Assist in the financial management of the Networks, including procurement of items and invoice management Work closely with the Networks teams to achieve the Networks goals Engage and liaise with stakeholders on Network matters Present a professional, welcoming, and helpful image to staff, other organizations, and the public Manage meetings, including correspondence and responding to telephone and other inquiries Assist in regional events - conferences, self-assessments, seminars, and meetings, including arranging venues, hospitality, and distributing relevant documentation We are a small but busy team and are looking for an undergraduate placement to support us with a range of tasks and projects. You will support the Senior Network Managers with the day-to-day running of the Networks as well as take a lead on a project.

In addition to the above duties, you will also: Engagement:

Work closely with the EMSN, EMCCN & EMMTN Manager, Medical Leads, Nurse Leads, Education Leads, and Administration team Engage with Network stakeholders Administration:

Ensure that all paperwork is efficiently and effectively managed Support preparation of meeting documents Take notes of meetings to a high standard, accurately recording discussions, decisions, and actions Maintain awareness of ongoing issues to follow up on actions prior to meetings Take clear, precise telephone messages Ensure all communication is dealt with in a timely, efficient manner and deadlines are met Handle queries from a wide range of organizations and individuals professionally and sensitively, ensuring confidentiality Assist with the development and maintenance of the network website Any other reasonable duties allocated by the Network Managers within the level of responsibilities and scope of the post as may be required.
