What you do The Mission of the UW Department is to promote the profitable growth of the RSA line of business focusing on clients/business opportunities. Reporting to the Regional Manager RSA UW & Portfolio Management, liaising with the Markets, Operational, Sales, Finance, IT teams, and Allianz Partners Business Units, you will be responsible for Case Underwriting and the monitoring and remediation of our RSA clients portfolio. As UW & Portfolio Management Specialist, you are mainly responsible for monitoring the profitability of RSA contracts and calculating the requested quotes (new quotes and renewals) with accuracy, aligned with Total Simplicity and within the deadlines. Monitor and analyse statistical data and technical results in all dimensions to detect deviations and derive insights for trends, frequency, and severity assumptions. Analyse profitability and understand cost drivers to prepare rehabilitation plans for unprofitable schemes/clients and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions. Produce analysis on existing schemes prior to annual reviews to support Global and Local Sales in preparing the final offer for Business Partners to ensure that the prepared offer is the best possible and, if necessary, participate in meetings with selected clients. Produce reports and add commentary needed for Smart Circle & work closely with finance and Reserving teams to ensure there is an aligned understanding of reserving and cost allocation assumptions. Support the Planning Dialogue (PD) process by providing the UW view on expected premiums, commissions, costs, and claim trends in future periods. Test new tariffs prepared by the Pricing & Actuarial Team to ensure that they are correct and that the products calculated with their use will be beneficial for the BU/Group. Calculate the requested new quotes and renewals with accuracy, aligned with Total Simplicity and within the deadline, supporting profitable growth and ensuring that all group procedures and guidelines are followed. Perform other tasks (related to PUW activities) as requested by the Manager. What you bring Education in mathematics, economics, data analysis, actuary, or a related major, or equivalent experience in a similar role. Ability to communicate technical results to both technical and non-technical teams. Fluent in English, both oral and written. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint). Other reporting tools (Microstrategy) and tools for managing data are desirable. Strong stakeholder management skills in a global matrix organization.
