Are you a compassionate and dynamic individual ready to lead positive change in the heart of the picturesque Derwent Valley Heritage Site? An exciting opportunity awaits you at Ada Bellfield Centre, where we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a warm and welcoming environment.

About Us:

Ada Belfield Centre offers a wide range of individually tailored care to suit various needs including 20 long-term residential care and 20 community support beds. Situated in Belper, a thriving town with a close community, Ada Bellfield is proud of its community links, and we share the site with Belper Library. Also on-site is our newly opened community café that is fast becoming a popular destination for the community.

Community Support Beds and Beyond:

At Ada Belfield, we go beyond traditional care models by offering community support beds that serve as a crucial transition for those ready to leave the hospital but not quite ready to return home independently. Leading and managing this dynamic element of care, you will be responsible for the safe, daily admission and discharge of individuals, with continuous professional networking with our allied health and social care professionals. As a Unit Manager, you will relish the unique challenges and opportunities of overseeing this diverse care offer, working collaboratively with the privately managed Extra Care Unit that completes the community care centre.

Why Join Us:

- Be part of a caring team dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. - Enjoy a beautiful work environment in the heart of Amber Valley's Heritage Site. - Benefit from 27 days of annual leave (plus 5 more after 5 years), flexible working options, and competitive pay rates for weekends and nights. - Access training and development opportunities to enhance your skills. - Join the Local Government Pension Scheme and enjoy discounts at selected county leisure centres through the Derbyshire Rewards Scheme.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will hold a Health & Social Care qualification, demonstrate management expertise in a residential home, have a proven track record in dementia care, and possess knowledge of relevant legislation and policy.
