Unit Manager for Montagu Hall, Mexborough

We are currently recruiting for a Unit Manager to provide care to residents in accordance with their individually assessed needs to a high standard. To provide leadership for the care team and support the development and delivery of consistently high-quality care services for residents with health and social care needs. Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to your care colleagues. You will be the home's Care expert and your role will be a combination of utilizing your knowledge and skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills. It is vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, maintain the highest levels of care governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures, care plan development and assessments, walk rounds, looking after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalized individual care. You must have the following qualifications

NVQ Level / Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 Evidence of personal and professional development We are looking for someone with the following experience

Extensive experience of care delivery within the Care Home environment Experience of managing staff Experience in meeting regulatory requirements Knowledge of evidence-based practice and audit techniques We are looking for someone with the following technical skills

Excellent organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Good analytical and judgment skills Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Ability to maintain and enhance effective working relationships Ability to contribute to, monitor and implement changes that improve service delivery and outcomes for residents Able to set and audit standards Ability to plan, allocate, and evaluate own work IT literate The ideal candidate will have these personal qualities

Able to cope in difficult situations with tact and diplomacy Ability to inspire professionalism Strong results orientation and can-do attitude. Be personable to build rapport and positively influence others
