Unqualified Nursery Assistant

Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a number of aspiring nursery assistants in welcoming and supportive nurseries and preschools across Southampton, Winchester, The New Forest and Romsey. We are looking for fantastic staff, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As a Nursery Assistant, you will: Assist in the planning and implementation of activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Support children with their daily routines, including meals, naps, and toileting. Maintain a clean and organised environment. Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues. About you: Candidates should be nurturing, caring, and patient. Have fantastic communication and interpersonal skills. Work well within a team. Location - Southampton and surrounding areas Position - Nursery Assistant Contract or position start date - ASAP Duration - Permanent/Temporary (multiple positions available) Full time/part-time - Full time/part-time (multiple positions available) Hours - Variable Essential & Desirable Qualifications/Requirements: Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A caring and patient nature. Ability to work as part of a team. To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide references upon request. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this).
