The Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, English position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to kickstart their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school they work with.
What will the role of an Unqualified Teacher - Science, Maths, English entail?
Have your own classes that you are responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively.
Provided schemes of work.
Working alongside the School covering all lessons.
Providing high-quality cover lessons - KS3-4 basis.
Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie.
Raising attainment & the quality of learning.
Inspiring & motivating young minds.
Managing behavior effectively.
ASAP Start - Full Time - Term Time Only.
UQT1 - UQT6 - £24,000 - £36,500 per annum.
What are we looking for? - Unqualified Teachers, Science, Maths, English
Academics:
A degree at 1st class or 2:1 in Science, Maths, or English from a reputable university. Strong A-Levels and GCSEs.
Experience: Strong experience working inside education in any of the following roles:
Unqualified Teacher Cover Supervisor HLTA Tutor (6 months+) Teaching Assistant (6 months+)
Personality:
Passionate about your subject specialism. Committed to a career in education. Comfortable teaching classes of 25-30.
