Are you an experienced upholsterer and you are ready to take your upholstery skills to the next level?

Our client is seeking a talented Upholsterer to join their team and contribute to the creation of beautifully crafted upholstered furniture. If you have experience working with different fabrics and materials, and enjoy hands-on work in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Skilfully using hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and attach materials
  • Assembling beds and other furniture pieces by following detailed guidelines
  • Performing thorough quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet high standards
  • Keeping your workspace organized and ensuring it meets cleanliness standards
  • Collaborating with team-mates to ensure production targets and deadlines are consistently met

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Measuring, cutting, and shaping upholstery materials with precision
  • Upholstering furniture components to create completed, high-quality pieces
  • Repairing and replacing upholstery on furniture as necessary
  • Safely lifting and moving larger furniture items as part of the production process
  • Using basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to upholstery

What You’ll Bring:

  • Prior experience as an upholsterer or similar role is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with excellent coordination and manual dexterity
  • Skilled using hand tools and power tools to work with various upholstery materials
  • Physically able to lift and handle heavy items when needed
  • Good organizational habits to keep your work area tidy
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Experience handling hand tools and power tools effectively
  • The physical strength to safely lift heavy objects when required.
  • Strong skills in assembling and fabricating upholstery with attention to detail.
