Are you a Support Worker looking for your next opportunity in Care and ready to start immediately? We are looking for an Urgent Support Worker who can work full time. The CTRC Team is seeking experienced, caring, and professional care staff that are committed and reliable. We have an opportunity based in Stevenage and London areas like HA4 and N9, to enable Service Users to develop and improve their life skills and encourage clients to lead a full and active life within the community. Our goal is to promote the independence of vulnerable adults and enhance individual lifestyles by offering access to social, leisure, and recreational activities, along with support in further education and employment. Therefore, we are looking for a carer that is comfortable with mobility, moving and handling, and working with severe learning disabilities with complex needs. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who lives in the London areas. This will be an ongoing care package. We expect the following from each staff member: To complete mandatory training Have a valid UK driving license Be a swimmer At least 6 months of experience in a caring role Be caring, compassionate, loyal, and reliable Have good communication skills (both written and verbal) Experience working with severe learning disabilities with complex needs Flexibility is essential Main functions of the job: To support the service user with accessing activities in the community, attending college, and appointments To promote and encourage independence To follow and implement the individual care plan Ensure that their basic needs and well-being are being addressed and that person-centered care is delivered at the highest standard.
