We are looking for a motivated

Used Car Manager

to join our team and lead our used car department to new heights at our Hyundai & Kia branch in Penarth Rd - Cardiff. You will need to be self-motivated, accurate and consistent in your approach to the role ensuring best practice is adopted at site with continuous monitoring and improvement. Key responsibilities : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the used car department, including sourcing and managing stock levels, pricing and appraisals, and vehicle preparation and display. Lead, motivate, and coach sales executives to achieve sales targets and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Report on department performance, key metrics, and stock management to senior management. Ensure all vehicles meet quality and safety standards before sale, in line with company policies and legal requirements. Ensure all sales are compliant with Group sales processes and regulatory standards. Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability within the used car team including lead management and in-house purchases through service departments. Strive for excellent customer service and timely resolution of any customer complaints. The ideal candidate: Proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a used car sales or management role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive sales and profitability. Knowledge of current automotive market trends and pricing strategies. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Full UK driving license. Key information

Working pattern:

5 days a week, day off during week and closed on Sundays (subject to business need). Salary:

Market competitive. This is a hugely critical role to the business, and will require a resilient, experienced and aspirational Used Car Manager, who is at the top of their game.
