At Hendy Bournemouth Skoda, we are looking for a driven and experienced Used Car Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing a fast-paced and dynamic used sales department, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets whilst ensuring all colleagues deliver outstanding customer service. You will work alongside other Managers and Directors to ensure the above is achieved and deliver a 100% positive customer experience, guaranteeing loyalty and advocacy. The Opportunity: In the Used Car Sales Manager role, you will: Build a team where our vision of providing 100% satisfaction to our colleagues and customers is shared, cultivating trusted, skilled, and appreciated team players. Balance the growth of the business by providing a positive and cohesive environment for your team, setting clear objectives that work towards department goals and our Vision and Values, along with support, coaching, and proactive management training. Dedicate time to perform regular reviews, critiques, and appraisals on your team regarding their performance, well-being, and attitude. Set budgets in conjunction with available resources and form action plans to ensure success and communication across the team. Provide, measure, and review key performance information to ensure maximum add-on sales and exceed customer expectations by understanding their needs. Ensure a 100% positive customer experience, secure well-presented, relevant, and merchantable vehicles, and maintain stock levels in line with working capital targets/objectives.

A proven track record of running a successful sales department in a main dealer environment; The ability to lead by example, manage, and inspire the team to consistently exceed customer satisfaction and profitability objectives; Creative and curious, with the courage to challenge the status quo; Strategic thinker, with the ability to analyse and interpret information to support the delivery of wider goals; Confident and personally credible, with the ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels; A full UK driving licence.
