Salary: Basic £36,000 Per Annum OTE £57,000 Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 18:00pm Saturday 09:00am - 17:00pm Sunday 11:00am - 16:00pm Weekend rota: Weekend in/weekend off covering Saturday and Sunday. You will be entitled to a day off during the week (either a Tuesday, Wednesday or a Thursday) every week. Role responsibilities: To deliver results and maximise profit in all areas of responsibility. To translate business strategy into operational plans for new and used car sales. To develop and agree sales plans and budgets, including new cars, used cars and accessories and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales and financial targets. To implement effective policies and procedures in order to maximise sales opportunities. To inspire, provide leadership and effectively manage staff in order to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets. To ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility. To work effectively with all other key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practice and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service. To ensure full compliance to FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services products by all relevant staff. The ideal Sales Manager will hold the following skills and experiences: Experience within the motor industry at management level. Commercial awareness and financial analysis. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills. Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure. Ability to lead and manage the sales team. IT literate with a full UK driving licence. Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses. Strong work ethic and adaptable to change. Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work. Ability to work to tight deadlines to achieve the business needs. Able to react positively to organisational and market changes.
