Used Car Sales Manager Located on the outskirts of Portadown, Prentice is a family-owned business. Operating from our state-of-the-art showroom, we are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated individual to join our BMW, MINI & Prentice Select Sales Department. As a Sales Manager, you will work with the Sales Manager and Head of Business to lead, motivate, manage, and drive the sales team to provide customer service excellence while delivering against the company’s key performance indicators. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Ensuring customers receive high-quality service and that all enquiries are handled quickly and effectively. Working to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Increasing sales volumes and working with the sales team to grow profits. Purchasing older used vehicles for all 3 departments. Maintaining the highest standard of vehicle and forecourt presentation. Disposing of trade cars. Supporting the sales team in daily operations, including customer contact, sales deal building, and vehicle preparation while ensuring the correct level of stock is maintained. Driving the sales process and supporting the sales team in achieving their monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products. Carrying out accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented as part-exchange and agreeing valuations. Ensuring budgetary sales/profit forecasts are achieved and monitoring departmental performance. Ensuring accurate completion of all Used Car sales paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities. Maximizing the quality and content of the customer database while adhering to the Company’s FSA obligations. Exceptional sales performance gained from within the automotive industry is essential as well as: A proven track record in sales (within the Automotive Industry). The ability to lead by example, manage, and inspire the team. Experience supervising a team. Excellent relationship building, customer-facing, and negotiating skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands. Excellent IT skills to include MS Office and Excel. Honesty, respect, and a strong sense of integrity. A full, valid, and clean UK Driving License. Knowledge of FCA Regulations. Experience within a Franchised Retailer.
