Our client, a global retail company, is seeking 9-months temporary cover for a

User Experience Designer

to harness UX expertise with the launch of an AI-powered shopping assistant. This role is based full time in their dedicated London studio space. The salary offer is £255.13 - £308.80 per day, pro rata and DOE. Key responsibilities will include: Contributing to the creation of new capabilities for the AI-powered shopping assistant within a mobile application. Generating scalable solutions using business and design acumen. Creating wireframes, prototypes, videos and other design artefacts to test and deliver ideas. Collaborating with research and product teams to apply learnings effectively. Partnering with team members and a designated mentor to grow in the role. Working with first-class researchers, visual art directors, product, engineers, technicians, AI scientists, and design leads in a cross-functional way. Requirements: Substantial UX Design experience. Able to present an online portfolio. Robust knowledge of UI design with an understanding of the principles of hierarchy, typography, and spacing. Proficient with UI design and prototyping in Figma. Experience designing interfaces for mobile devices. Previous experience conducting product design up to large scale products. Able to view the big picture and get into the more granular details. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience working with developers for implementation of designs. Presenting experience to management and leadership stakeholders. Content to work autonomously in the role. Able to keep pace with the progression of projects.
