Role: User Researcher Location: London or Bristol (Hybrid working available) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £75,000 - £85,000pa = Excellent Benefits Clearance: DV Clearance required Are you ready to be part of some of the UK's most ambitious programmes, helping to keep the country safe? Our Defence & Security team is renowned for its impactful work, strong relationships, and diverse expertise. The Role: As a User Researcher, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for Defence and Security clients. This role involves applying a range of user-centred research methods to create impactful products and services. You will play a crucial part in shaping exceptional user experiences while ensuring their needs are considered throughout the development process. Responsibilities: Plan and execute user research using methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and ethnographic research. Analyse user data and provide actionable insights. Develop user-focused design artifacts, such as journey maps and archetypes. Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to align research findings with business objectives. Advocate for user-centricity throughout the product lifecycle. Stay updated on trends and methodologies in user-centred design to enhance your craft. What We're Looking For: We value candidates with a blend of technical and business acumen who can demonstrate the impact of their work. Successful candidates will have: Proven experience in conducting diverse user research methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with research tools and platforms. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams. A passion for understanding user behaviour and delivering impactful solutions. Eligibility: This role requires candidates to have Developed Vetting (DV) clearance at the point of starting. If you do not hold current DV, please familiarise yourself with the process and requirements as it can take 12 months to achieve.
