What You'll Do: Ensure all plant machinery and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently, hitting performance targets for productivity, quality, and reliability. Use your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, with a focus on

ammonia refrigeration plants ,

steam boilers , and

automated systems . Work closely with the operations team as a united force, tackling the site's most critical objectives together. Drive continuous improvement through initiatives like 5S, root cause analysis, and center-lining machines - your ideas matter here. Get involved in exciting projects including equipment installations, PUWER assessments, and critical spares analysis. Use the CMMS system to manage maintenance tasks, ensure plant monitoring is thorough, and provide valuable feedback. What You Bring: A recognized Apprenticeship, an NVQ Level 3 in engineering or relevant engineering qualification. Ideally in plant maintenance. Hands-on experience in

steam boilers ,

ammonia refrigeration ,

industrial freezers , and

automation systems . Your fault-finding and problem-solving skills are second to none, and you excel at working independently. Good understanding of the importance of safety in an industrial environment and can follow risk assessments meticulously. Familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel, and CMMS systems - you're comfortable using tech to support your work. You're flexible when it comes to shifts and able to step up when cover is needed, whether for projects or holidays.
