Additionally, you will need to be comfortable with some travel to our Manchester office and other UK locations to support in-person collaboration. Responsibilities

Utilize UX methods to design seamless interfaces for our products and services, ensuring they are both functional and engaging. Collaborate closely with team members to bring ideas to life and refine them based on stakeholder and user feedback. Take ownership of various aspects of the design process, from conducting user research to creating wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. Engage in ongoing development opportunities through our skills framework to expand your UX knowledge and deepen your impact within the team. Description

At Jisc, we are the UK digital, data, and technology agency focused on tertiary education, research, and innovation. As a not-for-profit organization, we aim to improve lives through education and research by providing hardware, software, and networking solutions. You will be joining a talented team of UX practitioners within our Software Development group, working together to solve business-wide challenges, improve processes, and create operational efficiencies. We value a balance between personal and professional life and encourage flexibility in working arrangements, focusing on outputs rather than presenteeism. You will enjoy a variety of fantastic benefits, including 31 days of annual leave, generous pension schemes, and a culture of lifelong learning that promotes personal development. Join us and embrace the opportunity to make a real difference in the education and research sectors while working in an inclusive and diverse environment that values unique perspectives and innovative ideas. We are committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring all our team members feel valued and supported. If you're ready to take your next career step and contribute to creating effective user experiences, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. Your individuality may be just what we're looking for!
