About The Role We are seeking an ambitious computer science graduate who is ready to make their mark in industry as a UX/UI Designer. Join our Software Engineering Team and play a pivotal role in critical change initiatives that drive organisations forward. Work alongside Software Engineers and Analysts in the FDM Software Engineering Practice delivering top quality projects for our clients. As part of the Graduate Programme you will be equipped with the skills you need to become a UX/UI Designer. This specific role will be to work for our client in the finance sector in Edinburgh, on a hybrid basis with opportunity to convert to a permanent position. You will join FDM as a consultant in the Software Engineering Practice, where you’ll have access to coaching, upskilling and on-going career development from our expert coaches. As a Junior UX/UI Designer you will support the design team in creating user centered digital products and experiences. You will work closely with Senior Designers to conduct user research, create wireframes

and prototypes and assist in refining design solutions based on feedback. This role is for computer science students to transition into a UX Product Designer. About You Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science Knowledge of how to use Figma as a design tool Coursework or training experience in UX/UI design principles and methodologies Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a team Demonstrable interest and desire to work in technology Commitment to at least two years of employment with FDM The right to work in the UK Why join us?
