As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you’ll do at work

As a Technical Apprentice, you will spend the first 10 months at IPS International learning Electronics, Bench fitting, Computer aided design, Soldering, Inspection, and Project-related tasks in order to give you the necessary skills to be successful when you return to site. In year 2 you will rotate through a range of different departments including an Engineering function, Operations, and several others to find out what work suits you best. In Year 3 we see what opportunities become available and arrange interviews to spend your final year in a placement where you can start to specialise and build your successful careers. Our Ofsted (Outstanding Grade 1) Advance Engineering Technician Apprenticeship scheme aims to develop those with GCSE or equivalent, into Technicians to become a part of a dynamic Operations and Engineering workforce. Essential qualifications

GCSE in: 5 GCSEs inc Maths, English & Science or Technical (grade A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent)) Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know. Skills
