Our fabulous second vet has moved into another position within the group due to internal progression which we highly encourage, resulting in this opportunity! Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this position inclusive of weekend rotation is
£42,000 to £58,000 (FTE)
depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. Your rota will include a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation, and 1 bank holiday per year.
There are NO on-call requirements. The practice is situated in a bustling and popular area of South London, with easy travel links across the city and has the most dedicated and loyal client base. Stockwell has a fantastic close-knit nursing team which is integral on those more challenging days! You will also be fully supported by the bubbliest of regional managers, and regional head vet, to help with any clinical support. Stockwell is equipped with everything you would need, and our nearby Kennington practice has the addition of ultrasound facilities which could be utilized and shared across the two branches. You will also have the addition of support from Stone Lion 24-hour Hospital in Wimbledon, for more complex cases and OOH care. About us In 2022, we celebrated our 70th anniversary and now have 46 branches, three hospitals and our own nurse training college. We value all of our colleagues and our forward-looking approach means we have introduced a Colleague Forum to listen to our peers’ views, as well as monthly Town Hall meetings with our board of directors communicating real-time updates and taking polls with live Q&As to ensure we're making the right, collaborative decisions for our people.
