18 October 2024 Technica Ltd no comments Job Title: Control & Instrumentation Engineer Location: Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Term: Permanent An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our successful team based in Grimsby. Technica is a multi-disciplined design, management and construction company who specialise in providing turnkey projects to the national and international energy sector. This has arisen due to an increase in UK workload and several forthcoming overseas projects. As an Instrumentation and Control Engineer you will provide engineering design support to the project manager for contracts for a wide range of clients. You will be servicing national and international contracts. Individual projects would entail local and international travel to support the design activities. Travel will be tailored to the individual project and employee’s preference. Key Responsibilities Identify client requirements Develop C&I designs Prepare, check and Approve C&I design documentation Specify equipment Plan and carry out engineering activities Liaise with other members of the design team Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and relevant authorities Attend meetings Site surveys Assist in preparation of cost estimates and tender packages Site commissioning assistance Work to client, national and international standards and regulations Adhere to company quality and standards Carry out work in a safe and effective manner Attend training, develop and maintain skills The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: Qualifications: Minimum HNC Measurement and Control or Electrical Engineering Experience: 5 years C&I design experience minimum Gas and ATEX experienced Electrical design experience would be beneficial Posted In: Vacancies Technica Ltd All stories by: Technica Ltd
