Can you translate product initiatives into workable creatable software solutions? Do you have a history of business analysis with one foot in project management? Are you ready to make your mark on technology that is changing the way organizations protect their vital digital content? The Role

We are looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for identifying how product initiatives can be converted into user stories and acceptance criteria to allow our engineering team to develop features for our customers. You will work within the engineering team to transform and shape Preservica to ultimately deliver upon the product vision. Main Duties

Gathering, understanding, and acting on requirements. Being heavily involved during all stages of the product process including planning, designing, developing, testing, and supporting the team in delivering accurately and on time. What We Look For

To be part of Preservica you need: A well-rounded knowledge in software delivery and integration delivery; data storage or preservation knowledge is useful but not essential. The ability to work closely alongside developers; understanding the technology, its capabilities, and knowing what’s feasible. To work closely alongside the Product Manager and help turn high-level requirements into deliverable products. To be an expert in gathering requirements, creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, producing accurate estimates, and managing stakeholder expectations. An understanding of the importance of extracting and creating functional specifications, user requests, and user needs. Work to tight deadlines, get involved in Scrum meetings, and understand the realistic capabilities of engineers and testers while providing feedback to the management team. Be able to act as a proxy Product Manager sometimes, supporting them and helping manage the Product strategy and maintain the backlogs. Be personable with great communication skills, proactive, and confident to present in front of clients when required. Communicate with senior-level stakeholders and guide the team while advising on tricky situations. Think on your feet, act autonomously, and take responsibility. We will demand a lot from you, and you need to be enthusiastic and keen to progress your career, but the opportunities are huge. There is the option to move into Product Management or get involved more in a particular area that you enjoy and become a specialist.
