Contract Duration: 1 Year +

Role Overview: The Validation Engineer position in Stafford involves working on full engine validation from start to finish. This includes preparing the engine, conducting durability validation activities, and collaborating with other development engineers and leaders, including chief engineers. The role offers the opportunity to work with broader teams from different countries. The position will be onsite at least 3 days a week, with some flexibility for remote work.

Impact and Need for the Position: This role is crucial due to the upcoming production of several products, offering the right candidate the chance to make a visible contribution to the delivery of these products. The development team is expanding to accommodate increasing plans, and this position is intended to provide additional support to the team's growth and workload.

Team Structure:

The team is composed of 17 core members, including calibration engineers and testing specialists. The team works closely with the design team and is supported by another 30 individuals in the facility team. The candidate will report directly to Hiring Manager Rich Wills.

Required Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office for technical reports. Knowledge of the component validation process. Experience with data analysis tools such as CANape, CANcase, or similar.

Industry Experience and Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in engine system development, ideally in internal combustion engines (gasoline, diesel, or gas engine development). Candidates with experience in the automotive, aerospace, or large machine validation fields are also acceptable, especially those who have worked with diesel engines and have a fundamental understanding of how diesel engines operate.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

Experience in root cause analysis. Expertise in internal combustion engine validation planning and execution. Strong communication skills, including technical report writing.
