About the Role:
Driver Hire Twickenham is seeking a professional and reliable 3.5T (B+E) Delivery Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working with a well-established client that specializes in the distribution of machinery parts. Your role will involve the safe transportation of goods using a small trailer attached to a 3.5T vehicle, delivering to customer sites with precision and care. - You will be driving a 3.5T Van, majority of the time with a trailer. Experience in towing is desired; however, training for this is provided if required. Working Hours and Days: - Monday to Friday - Stated hours are 8am to 5pm, but these hours will vary day in, day out. - Overtime paid at 1.5x (Monday - Saturday) - Overtime paid at 2x (Sunday) - Night Shift and Weekend work may be required occasionally, but this is only as and when due to customer requirements. Main Duties: Delivering and collecting plant machinery to and from customer sites, ensuring customers sign relevant delivery and collection paperwork. Ensure customer satisfaction at point of delivery/collection, notifying the Hire Desk of any issues or concerns. Safely loading and unloading equipment. Conducting daily vehicle defect checks on the company vehicle to ensure road worthiness, raising any issues through the correct process. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle at all times. Requirements: Driving License with no markers for drink driving, drug driving, or driving without insurance. Minimum of 21 years old due to insurance policy.
