Vortex Recruitment are seeking Van Drivers for our client in Dartford. Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Van Driver to join our client in the pharmaceuticals industry. As a Van Driver, you will play a critical role in the transportation and distribution of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely and safe delivery to various locations. This position requires a responsible individual who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Van Driver will work closely with our logistics team to manage the daily schedule, monitor vehicle maintenance, and handle the loading and unloading of products with care to prevent damage or contamination. Responsibilities Safely operate a company van to transport pharmaceutical products to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability of the vehicle. Load and unload products with attention to detail to prevent damage or contamination. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickup schedules. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies during transportation. Communicate effectively with logistics personnel and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar driving role. Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations. Ability to lift heavy objects and physically perform required tasks. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safe handling procedures for pharmaceutical products.
