£25,000 We are currently recruiting for a

VAT Administrator

to join our dynamic and highly proactive OMP team. The candidates must be self-starters, strongly motivated and clear communicators at all levels. The successful individual needs to demonstrate their ability to work independently and pro-actively in our practice that is, above anything, client focused. Responsibilities: Filing offline VAT returns in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, and not incurring penalties. Filing online VAT returns using Amazon technology by authorities deadline and completing regular audits. Raising issues/concerns with Amazon RGE and providing ideas on department service improvement. Update appropriate software and keep internal CRM systems updated. Ensuring that European filings, EC Sales and Intrastat reporting are in place where or if required. Review thresholds in place in each country and notify European offices of such data. Training, supporting and developing new members of the team. Collaborate with the team in a positive manner. Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Works well in a small team as well as independently. Excellent multi-tasking ability. Desirable skills, knowledge and experience: Experience working in VAT/Accountancy/Finance department.
