Top 20 Accountancy Practice are seeking Managers to join their dynamic department.
This key role requires a client-focused professional with excellent technical skills and the ability to convey complex VAT information to non-experts.
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily advisory-focused, with occasional support for compliance functions. Review VAT returns and assumptions prepared by compliance specialists. Manage a client portfolio, ensuring deadlines are met, work is within budget, and minimal partner/director review time is needed. Handle a wide range of VAT issues, especially in property and NFP sectors. Work closely with VAT Managers/Directors on various advisory and consultancy projects. Take ownership of smaller projects and work directly with clients and colleagues. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
VAT Advisory:
Manage client VAT relationships across industries. Advise on international services with multi-country establishments. Handle property issues for commercial and NFP clients. Review contracts and advise on VAT wording. VAT Compliance:
Occasionally prepare and submit VAT returns for complex businesses. Review VAT returns prepared by compliance staff.
