Your Impact
You will complete VAT returns for assigned entities and prepare the corresponding paperwork for payment. You will prepare the related balance sheet reconciliations for VAT & Tax, and the related journals to clear the balance sheet reconciling items. You will complete Intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting. You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors, and tax advisors. You will support the manager with common processes and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA). Practical VAT and intrastat experience in an advisory, tax authority, or industry role. Experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns including knowledge of overseas legislation and requirements. Experience in dealing and managing stakeholders remotely. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
