VAVE Purchasing Manager

to spearhead their procurement area for this new site.

The role of VAVE Purchasing Manager is a key strategic role and will help spearhead this new site and their middle layer leadership team. This role is part of a flat structure, so you’ll report directly into the Technical Director.

As the VAVE Purchasing Manager, you’ll be creating a new department working in collaboration with other heads. You’ll be responsible for all procurement activities across the site ensuring all parts and components are available for product assembly.

You’ll be responsible for looking at strategic costs, supplier management, risk management and process improvement across the department. You’ll be required to analyse key data and suggest improvements to ensure projects are on track.

This VAVE Purchasing Manager will also be responsible for hiring as you’ll be given a Purchasing Associate from the start to support your team.

VAVE Purchasing Manager requirements:

Degree qualified or higher in Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics Strong purchasing and procurement experience in the Automotive sector VA/VE Knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems Contract negotiation Certifications – CPM, CPSM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma (not essential)
