Vegetation Site Representative

£21p/h (Umbrella)
£24 p/h (Weekend)
40 hrs per week (Monday to Friday)
Vital are currently recruiting for an experienced Vegetation Site Representative to join an existing De-Vegetation team.
You will be responsible for checking paperwork, equipment and acting as a second line of safety between Network Rail and the contracting companies carrying out the works.
Desirable Experience:
Working within a de-vegetation environment previously is advantageous but not essential.
Extensive experience of working within different safe systems including taking line blockages.
De-Vegetation Tickets i.e. Brush Cutter, Strimmer, Hedge cutter, weed spraying or chainsaw (Desirable).
COSS – Desirable but not Essential.
Full Clean Drivers License - No recent bans for driving without insurance, drink driving etc. (won't be able to get on our insurance).
Vital are the currently supplier of the contingency labour framework to Network Rail over the next 7 years. This opportunity gives the chance for long term & secure work with the chance to progress for the right individuals.
Weekend shifts will be available on other projects.
Due to the contract with Network Rail we are only able to pay via Umbrella or PAYE through Vital. We are unable to pay CIS or Ltd Company.
