We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive electrical and electronics systems development. We are recruiting for a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer for our UK customer. You will be responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. You will be part of the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond. What you bring along:
Skills required: Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity Skills preferred: Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools CATIA abilities Experience required: Delivery of vehicle programs Experience preferred: Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred Education required: Degree in Engineering discipline Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK.
