Job Title: Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer
Location: Basildon, Essex / Hybrid - 3 days per week on site
Rate: £29.52ph Umbrella Co Basis - increasing to £35.65ph Umbrella Co in week 13 of the contract under AWR (inside IR35)

Job Description:
Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer VA engineers are responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. VA are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond.
Skills Required:
Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills and the ability to interface with senior management.
Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity.
Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck Tools.
CATIA abilities.
Experience Required:
Delivery of vehicle programs.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred.
Education Required:
Degree in Engineering discipline.
Additional Information:
Hybrid - Dunton Based and 3 days on site.
Travel: Possibly - Europe.
