Position: Vehicle Engineer
Salary: £30,000 region or even higher depending on experience levels
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00, no weekend working!
Due to workplace location it is essential to drive and have your own transport.

This is a permanent full-time post based on the outskirts of Haywards Heath. No weekend working!
Due to workplace location it is essential to drive and have your own transport.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installations of hydraulic systems for specialist vehicles.
Duties / the role:
Competently fitting systems to customer vehicles.
Fault diagnosis and repair support to customers and equipment as needed.
Follow fitting instructions and use own initiative to overcome any complications as they may arise.
Demonstrating completed works to customers.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams to ensure that wiring is correctly installed.
Carry out fabrication / MIG welding duties as required.
Record and report all service / repair issues correctly to ensure full resolution of task.
Promote and maintain good relations with customers.
Provide telephone technical support when required.
Comply with all aspects of health and safety good practice during daily tasks.
Attend workshops and further training as and when required.
Experience Required:
Experienced multi-skilled technician with experience of fitting out vehicles.
Competent all-round fabrication skills.
Motivated to work unsupervised with the ability to work to deadlines.
Must hold a full, current, UK driving licence.
Must also hold a valid passport as some training may take place abroad.
