Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for vehicle inspectors in the Colchester area to work for our client based at their auction site, who are a global leader in the automotive industry.
The Role:
As a vehicle inspector, you will be undertaking the below tasks:
Carry out all inbound vehicle inspections and manage any issues in a timely manner.
Carry out all return vehicle inspections thoroughly, to agreed standard and timescales.
Accurately record damage via the handheld technology and ensure all damage is captured.
Ensure the right repair methods are adopted making sure repairs are too standard and cost effective.
Keep up to date with the latest repair technologies.
Familiar with the de-fleet standards and produce fair estimates in line with these requirements.
What kind of person we are looking for?
The successful candidates must:
Demonstrate their previous experience, knowledge and understanding of working within an inspection role.
Demonstrate their previous experience of working within a customer facing role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Have a full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
