At CBF Service Centre, a well-established, independent, family-run garage in the heart of Beccles, we’re looking for a new mechanic to join our team.
What We Offer:
Pay: £13 - £17 per hour, based on experience and skills.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts—no weekends!
Location: Unit 1-3, George Westwood Way, Beccles NR34 9EJ.

What the role will involve: To carry out work as and when required on customer vehicles and performing the task to the best of the post holder’s ability. Perform routine maintenance services and inspections on a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues efficiently. Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components with precision and expertise. Ensure good customer relations at all times, in a manner that is courteous, friendly and helpful to the customer. Keep the workshop and machinery clean and tidy and free from hazards. Regularly check operational equipment, advising management immediately of malfunctions. Advise customers on products, seeking technical advice from the Manager / Supervisor as required. When required open up and close down the tyre centre area covering colleagues, punctually. Receive and unload goods for the tyre centre. Take utmost care when driving or working on a customer’s vehicle. What You’ll Need: GCSE qualifications Motor Mechanic qualifications would be an advantage but not essential At least 2 years of experience in a similar role A positive attitude and a commitment to excellent workmanship Reliability and good time management skills Attention to detail Why Join CBF Service Centre?
