The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. Reporting to the Head of Vehicle Packaging, you will lead a team of Zonal Package Engineers in creating a class-leading vehicle line. The right candidate will help steer the package and integration of a new vehicle, driving engineering excellence in the definition and execution of a brand new platform. What you will do:

Leading a team of zonal owners in the package and integration of all components, subsystems, and commodities across the vehicle. Creating summarized high-level reports for escalation forums across the business. Driving the priority system of the open engineering issues to reflect the impact on business. Running the escalation reviews of the most critical issues before further escalation to leadership forums. Creating shortlists of vehicle issues to populate escalation forums for the chief engineers and Vehicle engineering function. Running the project-specific reviews with the zonal owner team. Collaborating with other business functions to ensure all technical issues are captured and heard in zonal reviews, e.g. Service, Manufacturing, Product, Human Factors, etc. Managing a team of master section engineers in creating and maintaining a vehicle section book. Currently operating under stealth mode, our focus is entirely directed towards achieving excellence as pioneers in creating sustainable mobility solutions which will help shape the future of transportation. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. Proven experience in vehicle packaging, vehicle architecture, or zonal leader experience. Prior experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing a team of engineers. Strong technical knowledge of multiple automotive commodities - e.g. interiors, exteriors, structures. Excellent project and stakeholder management. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
