We are working with a successful NI business to recruit for their new Vehicle Technician to join them at their Newry & Ballyclare facilities on a permanent basis.
In the role you will be working across maintenance and repair of their Vehicles, diagnostics and fault finding.
Requirements
Responding to Customer Needs. Electrical Repairs. Mechanical Vehicular Repairs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform tasks like general servicing, fault finding, electrical work, and vehicle rebuilds. Follow manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines for all repairs. Complete repairs within standard times, using the right tools. Help diagnose faults in vehicles. Adhere to warranty procedures during and after repairs. Work with the parts team to ensure correct parts are installed. Test vehicles after repair, if qualified (HGV license holder). Assist with roadside breakdowns when necessary. Report any vehicle defects to the Workshop Supervisor. Accurately complete service sheets and job cards. Follow company time-tracking processes. Keep the workshop, tools, and equipment clean and maintained. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed. Help train and support apprentices and trainees when required.
