LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician Required in CroydonMonday to Friday 42.5 hours per week, Saturdays on a rota at overtime ratePay: £38k Basic + £44k OTE Working within a dynamic Motor Vehicle repair environment for one of the UK’s largest Vehicle Hire companies Salary up to £44,000 p/a + potential to earn Quarterly Bonus Working at our clients Repairing Workshop will be a unique experience in your career to date and especially working in their Croydon Branch being one of their busiest locations. The workshop in Croydon provides maintenance, servicing, and warranty work to our fleet of over 1000 vehicles. The workshop is an integral part of our business, alongside providing regional workshop support to other internal sites and large corporate client fleets in the area. As you would expect our client are using manufacturer diagnostic technology in all workshops. They aim to ensure our customer vehicles get back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible, allowing our customer to keep their promises. They are here to keep customers mobile and need a reliable and hardworking technical partner to work with. Our client will provide training, both in-house via our technical training business partners, and through the various manufacturers we work with, this will include electric vehicle diagnostic and repair. They want to work with you to build a long and successful career. Using your technical knowledge to work on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of light commercial vehicles, we can promise that every day will be packed with variety. You will use the diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, and perform preventive maintenance and MOT preparation. Your Requirements as a Vehicle Technician: You will be technically trained or have spent time served in the automotive sector or similar environment. A full driving licence is essential. We’ll also expect you to be a team player who’s continually focused on the needs of customers.
