But at the heart of our business is our people. Role Purpose The successful candidate will have responsibility for the repairs and regular maintenance of fuelling vehicles. What you will be doing Specification, procurement, and installation of suitable equipment associated with fuelling and HGV vehicle repair and maintenance. Diagnostics, running repairs, vehicle inspections, MOT preparation (to Menzies, London Stansted Airport standard). Servicing fuelling and maintenance vehicle pack to include pressure controllers, hose pressure tests, filter changes, electronic water detection system checks, hose changes, hydraulic system checks and repairs. Carry out quality control to SOAM 6 standards. Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of health and safety awareness and have good knowledge of safe working practices. Must be flexible to work at other locations throughout the UK when required. Safety, Security, WellBeing and Compliance: You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What we are looking for Valid driving license with LGV C is essential (C+E, ADR, CPC would be an advantage). Ability to maintain high levels of awareness in relation to health, safety, security, and the environment is crucial in all tasks conducted in the depot. High standard of numeracy and literacy skills required in addition to problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Mercedes vehicles desirable. Knowledge of vehicle electrics and hydraulic systems (certification desirable). Good knowledge of the vehicle fuelling pack is highly desirable. Must have a checkable five-year employment history.
