Job Title: Vehicle Technician Location: Cornwall Salary: 30,000 - 50,000 DOE My client is a well-established and reputable motor group in Cornwall, known for delivering exceptional customer service and quality automotive repairs. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. This is a full time permanent position offering an annual salary between 30,000 - 50,000 depending on experience, working Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings on an rotational basis. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine servicing and maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with manufacturer standards. Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and your technical expertise. Conduct repairs and replace parts where necessary, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and safe. Complete vehicle health checks and provide detailed reports to customers on work carried out and any further repairs required. Maintain accurate records of service work, parts used, and time spent on each job. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the workshop. Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues to customers in an easy-to-understand manner. Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and vehicle models. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of all tasks. Qualifications and Skills: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent). Experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs. Full UK driving license.
