Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand, power and diagnostic tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our vehicles through thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance. Your expertise will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers and the efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, clutches, head gaskets and cam belt changes. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle, including parts used and labour hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies to enhance skills and service quality. Requirements Proven experience of 10 years minimum as a Vehicle Technician, or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driving licence is needed.
