Vehicle Technician
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join an independent leading car garage in Salisbury. Our client is South Wiltshire's only Motability approved adaptation installer and a Ford specialist! This is a full-time permanent position.
Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Diagnose vehicle faults. Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, steering systems, and transmissions. Ensure vehicles meet safety standards and are roadworthy. Maintain records of all work performed, including time taken and parts used. Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
Vehicle Technician Requirements: Experience within a similar role. Level 3 qualified vehicle technician. MOT license is desirable. Strong mechanical and technical skills. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Full UK Driving License.
Vehicle Technician Package: Salary up to £40,000. Monday to Friday 8:20 am - 5:30 pm. Alternating Saturdays 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Flexible holiday. Excellent training opportunities including EV charging and Motability installation. Career progression. Relaxed working environment with all modern equipment.
