We are recruiting an experienced and highly motivated HGV Workshop Technician to join The team based at our Tipton Head Office.
Your role will include but won't be limited to the following: A wide variety of servicing and repair work Contribute towards effective “preventative maintenance” Prepare and submit vehicles to a standard appropriate for the issuing of an annual test certificate Liase with parts suppliers to ensure correct parts are issued to complete jobs efficiently and within the requirement timescale Accurately complete relevant paperwork including job cards and service sheets using online systems to the required standard Ensure ISO & Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times
What you need to succeed: City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 / NVQ Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent Minimum 5 years HGV workshop experience The ability to work alone and use initiative to find faults A good understanding of HGVs including diagnostic fault finding HGV Class 2 drivers license Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liase directly with suppliers, drivers and control General technical ability
