Business Development Manager Logistics £45,000 - £50,000 Basic Bonus Structure Car Allowance Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in Logistics. You will be joining a business that is looking to expand. This is a new vacancy which will have support from the business with pre-qualified appointments. The business operates within the M62 corridor to the M25. Vacancy details Identify new business opportunities to increase revenue in line with agreed commercial ambitions. Build your own pipeline of business opportunities in line with agreed budgets. Forecast potential prospects and nurture new clients. Plan, build and deliver presentations and proposals to a professional standard. Plan and execute sales and marketing activities to increase revenue and grow the customer base. Attend exhibitions and trade shows to showcase business capabilities where required. Identify emerging markets and industry trends whilst being fully aware of new products and competitor landscapes. Provide business information to the Sales Director and work with the wider business to support customer requirements. Experience required Previous experience is essential in Logistics (Haulage, Network and Storage). Experience in Ambient Products would be a distinct advantage. Face to Face meeting experience required. Presentation experience and ability to negotiate. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel. Proven experience in delivering budgets and competitor analysis. Company Benefits Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year. Bonus Structure. Car Allowance. Company Pension. 20 Days Holiday + Statutory.
