Ignition Technology have an exciting opportunity for a Vendor Manager to work with a variety of our Vendors. Responsible for managing relationships, KPIs, and driving revenue and profit targets. Develop channel strategy through existing and new reseller partnerships to boost Partner Sourced Pipeline. As a subject matter expert in your designated Vendor technology, you’ll be the main point of contact for sales inquiries, advising partners, executing growth plans, and helping close opportunities with commercial responsibility. You will join a market-changing organization, that specialises in the discovery and distribution of innovative and disruptive IT security and networking solutions to the IT community. Working on the newest and most incredible technologies primarily focusing on Software, Cloud and Software-as-a-service based solutions. As the Vendor Manager, you will: Understand where the vendor complements the partners existing Portfolio. Promote complementary Vendor solutions and articulate the Ignition Technology value proposition. Work to achieve individual and team targets against agreed profit requirements. Be the key contact for the specified vendors within your remit, developing relationships at all levels of the Vendor organisation and being an extension of the vendor. Train and enable Ignition Technology ensuring any accreditations are maintained. Conduct annual and quarterly business planning and review meetings with vendors. Manage key accounts alongside the Account Managers. Work closely with the internal and external sales teams to set and co-ordinate partner meetings. Proactively work with channel team & marketing teams to: Recruit, enable and drive new resellers. Develop end user lead generation programs with resellers. Implement sales & technical training programs. Ensure internal systems are up to date with vendor pricelists, collateral, discount structures and processes. Produce monthly sales forecast reports and statistics for Ignition Technology & Vendor management. Drive the quarterly business plan working alongside the Account Manager and Vendor Channel Team. Work with the partner to on-board vendor through training and enablement across all relevant departments. Provide ongoing training to educate the partner on new releases and competitive messaging. Support vendor focused activities, such as end user events and focus days. Be the point of contact for escalation. The ideal Vendor Manager will: Have sales experience within the IT industry. Have a track record of closing business within Distribution or Channel Sales. Be organised, structured, and efficient in your work, with good attention to detail. Be confident and personable with excellent presentation skills. Be flexible, with the ability to work successfully in various environments. Be self-motivated and target driven. Be a good team player willing to share information and foster a positive team environment.
