Hiring: Verification and Validation Engineer

Location: Kingston-Upon-Thames - hybrid and flexible working pattern
Competitive IR35 contract - 12 months with likely extension

You must be eligible for SC clearance to be considered for this position.

Experis are working with an incredible organisation who are seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to assist with complex programmes of substantial importance on a global scale.

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in each project, ensuring each project phase has been verified and validated.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Application of Verification and Validation principles and practices across the System Engineering lifecycle, right through from requirements, design and integration.
  2. Assist with management plans and other documentation including Test Procedures, VCRI's, Test Reports etc.
  3. Delivering off-site Testing support of electrical sub-systems.
  4. Support process improvement in areas such as Hardware testing and V&V processes.
  5. Support wider V&V activities when required.

Requirements:

  1. Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering/Electrical engineering.
  2. Electrical engineering understanding to assist test assurance and requirement compliance activities.
  3. System Engineering experience with Verification and Validation.
  4. Requirement management tools experience, such as DOORS.
  5. Root Cause Analysis and regression test management.
  6. Technical Report writing ability.
  7. Stakeholder Management experience.
