What the role involves

• Promote best practice throughout the Verification & Validation engineering lifecycle, ensuring compliance with defence industry standards.
• Report on V&V activities using approved tools, methods and processes.
• Leading/supervise engineers to support the delivery of defined work packages.
• Design estimates, management plans, metrics and technical reviews.
• Contribute to project documentation, including requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, risk reviews, integration, acceptance and diagnostic testing activities.

Skills and requirements

• Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Software, Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience planning and delivering Verification & Validation activities within a systems engineering environment.
• Experience working within a highly regulated environment, i.e. Aerospace, Defence, Automotive etc.
• Experience using IBM DOORS or similar.

• South West London - Hybrid.
• As a Verification & Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, safety and compliance of software and hardware products within the defence industry.
• Work with Software and Systems teams, supporting the delivery of complex, multi-domain command and control systems.
