The Practice:
We are a purely small animal, GP clinic but are looking to expand on our referrals and more niche treatments. Alongside all the routine ops and medical cases, we oversee: physiotherapy, cardiology and acupuncture patients. It is a small team of 13 currently and are looking to add 1 more Vet to the team to help facilitate our plans for expansion throughout 2025. We are in the planning stage for an extension on our building so we can manage more patients. The practice director is a nurse by training and continues to support the wider clinical team and scrub in!
Our area is competitive between different veterinary businesses but what sets us apart is the incredible clinical standards and culture of continued development and support. We’ve mental health first aiders and are happy to support all our colleagues however we can.
Being based in Northamptonshire, we are commutable from Northampton, Peterborough, Leicester, Corby, Kettering and all surrounding areas.
The Role:
As our practice is busy, we have our vets work on rotations between having set surgical time and seeing clients for consults. We run 15 minute consults as a minimum for routine enquiries and have dedicated time in your diary for write ups and breaks. You will have a varied caseload on your diary and we would encourage those with a specific interest to voice this so we can try to develop a biased where possible. We’ve an additional new graduate vet joining slightly later in 2025 so are ideally seeking a candidate already comfortable managing routine ops and confident in medical consultations.
Our Offer to You:
We are looking to offer up to £60,000 per year but can consider negotiating. Alongside this, you get:
