Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Doncaster, South Yorkshire Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon? Are you looking to join an established small animal practice? Do you have an interest in medicine or imaging? Are you looking for a great salary from up to £80,000, an excellent work-life balance, and a generous CPD allowance? We are recruiting for a Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Doncaster. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties. The practice is one of 4 sites in the area and is proudly independent, offering state-of-the-art facilities. They are continuing to grow and expand, investing in state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment within their practices to expand their orthopaedic and soft tissue cases. You will be expected to provide clinical coaching and encourage development to continue to improve all knowledge and clinical skills. You will also be responsible for the recruitment of permanent and locum Veterinary Surgeons. Key details:

You will be confident in all routine surgeries and consultations including bitch spay You will always deliver and be committed to providing a high standard of clinical care You will have an enthusiastic and caring attitude You will have strong communication and organisational skills You will work well under pressure with a calm and confident manner You will have excellent people management skills A kind and empathetic attitude is essential You will be ambitious, looking to study towards a certificate or be a certificate holding surgeon looking to progress further You will be a team player The role is determined by years of experience and will be catered to suit, but ultimately the Vet needs to be ambitious looking to develop your clinical skills and knowledge further You will enjoy working in a busy environment Areas of special interest would be an advantage You will want to be at the forefront of the practice, helping to grow and develop the services and facilities provided You will have excellent customer-facing skills You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest in animal welfare Facilities:
